I thought i was smarter than that,
to get lost in a place that no one gets out.
I thought i found the way out,
but how wrong was I, it lead me to a cross road.
I thought what i sore was the light of day,
but it was that of another lost soul.
I thought that it could help me,
but I was wrong, it took me back to the begining,
I thought this could be my new start,
but it just sent me on a new path of pain and suffering.
I thought it would go away if I stopped and waited for a while,
but it made me forget.
I thought it would all come back if i had another go,
but it hurt so i fell right back down.
I thought I could trust so
